OUR FACILITIES

The school has excellent facilities supporting all areas of its curriculum. The school's facilities include an administrative wing which contains offices, staff rooms, library, variety store, classrooms, science laboratory, computer laboratory, introductory technology workshop, fine-art room, music room, dining room, basketball pitch, badminton court, borehole and a generator to complement electricity supply. Both the house mistress and the matron live with the borders.

Boarding Facilities

The school has very comfortable boarding facilities. The rooms are large, with toilet and bathroom ensuite, and house not more than 4 students. A matron and house mistress reside with the boarders. Boarders are served 3 balanced meals cooked by qualified caterers, and served in a modern dining room. A borehole and generator are available to ensure constant water/power supply.

Health:The school has a well-equipped sickbay, manned by an experienced doctor and four nurses, to give students medical attention while they are in school. Complete medical care is also extended to all boarding students.

Security:The school has security personnel on duty round the clock. In addition, no boarder is allowed outside the gate without an exeat duly signed by the matron or School Principal.

Staff: Teachers in the school are highly qualified graduates with high competence in their various teaching subjects. Most of them have second degrees and vast experience in the school system.

Admission: Admission to Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary classes is by written exam and oral interview. Admission will be reserved upon receipt of the school fees or deposit thereof. The school accepts twenty-five students per class to ensure effective teaching and individual attention.

 

Responsibility: Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and personal standard of behavior as soon as they join the school. The school also offers students the opportunity to experience responsibility as a representative of their form or later on as a prefect.
